TORVQ LLC is based in Chicago and works as the U.S.-side commercial interface for companies operating across borders — closing the gap between a plan made overseas and the work that has to happen locally.
Mission
Why TORVQ exists
Cross-border business rarely stalls on strategy. It stalls on execution: questions that need a local answer, professionals who need to be engaged and coordinated, documents that need an owner, and counterparties who need someone reachable in their time zone.
TORVQ exists to hold that layer. We define the requirements, coordinate qualified professionals and counterparties, run the commercial work, and report back in a single consolidated line — in Japanese for overseas stakeholders, in English toward U.S. parties.

Yukihide Inagaki
Founder & Principal, TORVQ LLC
Based in the United States for more than 30 years, Yukihide Inagaki has worked in the U.S. operations of Japanese companies across sourcing, quotations, purchase and sales orders, import and export, logistics, supplier and customer coordination, delivery management, and issue resolution in cross-border commercial flows.
At TORVQ, his role is not limited to research or recommendations. He identifies who must be contacted in the United States, what documents and information are required, and in what order the work should proceed. When a matter requires a professional determination, he coordinates the appropriate qualified professionals and operating parties, then consolidates the status and open issues for the client.
He uses AI not simply as a writing tool, but as part of research, information structuring, documentation, project management, and process standardization — supporting a focused operating model that can move work forward accurately without unnecessary organizational layers.

The name
Brand
TORVQ — pronounced like "torque."
Named for the force that actually turns things — not horsepower, but the force that moves the shaft — combined with the Japanese word togu, meaning to sharpen, to refine judgment through practice.
The spelling departs from the common noun so the name can stand on its own, while the sound remains.
