How We Work

Engagement and process

A Clear Path from First Conversation to Execution.

Before work begins, TORVQ defines the scope, deliverables, allocation of responsibility, treatment of costs, and reporting cadence. Work proceeds only within the agreed written scope.

TORVQ coordinates commercial and regulatory workstreams. Final legal, tax, customs and regulatory determinations are made by appropriately qualified professionals and the relevant authorities.

Engagement models

How the work can be structured

Project-based

Project-based

Define the scope, deliverables, and timing in advance, then perform the work for the agreed fee. Appropriate for work with a defined start and finish, including market-entry assessment, commercial-flow design, and regulatory issue mapping.

Monthly Retainer

Monthly Retainer

Define monthly capacity and serve as a continuing U.S.-side operating interface. Appropriate for recurring work such as quotations, order coordination, and vendor management.

Execution Management

Execution Management

Design and manage the commercial workflow. The transactions covered, responsibilities, authority, and compensation terms are defined in writing for each engagement. Appropriate when the sourcing or sales channel itself must be built.

Process

From first conversation to reporting

  1. 01

    Initial conversation

    First discussion

We discuss the objective, constraints, and where progress has stopped. Early-stage concepts are welcome.

  2. 02

    Issue framing and proposal

    Scope and estimate

We provide a written proposal covering the scope TORVQ can perform, likely external specialists, estimated fees, and expected timing.

  3. 03

    Written scope (SOW)

    SOW agreement

We distinguish TORVQ's coordination and execution scope from determinations that must be made by appropriately qualified professionals.

  4. 04

    Execution and reporting

    Delivery and reporting

We carry forward the U.S.-side work and report progress, open items, and risks on the agreed cadence.

About fees

Scope before price

Because the scope and participating specialists vary materially by engagement, TORVQ does not publish a fixed rate card. After an initial conversation and scope definition, we provide an estimate. Cost principles:

  • External professional fees, duties, logistics costs, and product costs are treated as pass-through costs. With the client's prior approval, they are paid directly by the client or funded in advance. TORVQ does not advance these costs.
  • Proposals separate TORVQ's scope and fees from external costs.

What we decline

Engagement boundaries

TORVQ does not accept engagements involving:

  • Sanctioned parties, export-control concerns, or unresolved questions regarding the source of funds.
  • Unresolved product-safety concerns.
  • Requests to proceed without review by an appropriately qualified professional when such review is required.
  • Refusal to distinguish TORVQ's responsibilities from those of external professionals.
