Manufacturer Representation

U.S. market development

Build U.S. Market Presence Without Building a Full Local Team on Day One.

For manufacturers outside the United States, the constraint is rarely the product — it is having someone locally who can approach accounts, answer in English, coordinate samples, and keep discussions moving. TORVQ performs that work within a scope you define in writing.

Scope, territory and authority are agreed in writing before any representation begins. TORVQ does not describe itself as an authorized representative or distributor of a manufacturer in the absence of such an agreement.

Scope of representation

What is performed

Market research

Market Research

Understanding where the product fits in the U.S. market, how comparable products reach buyers, and which questions buyers ask first.

Target accounts

Target Accounts

Building a defined list of account types and named prospects, with the rationale for each and the decision roles involved.

Outreach & qualification

Outreach / Qualification

Approaching prospects in English on the manufacturer's behalf, qualifying real interest, and filtering out low-quality inquiries early.

Sample & evaluation coordination

Evaluation / Sample

Coordinating sample requests, evaluation logistics and the practical steps a prospect needs in order to test the product.

Technical & commercial follow-up

Follow-up

Carrying technical questions back to the manufacturer, returning answers in context, and keeping momentum between time zones.

Negotiation support

Negotiation Support

Supporting commercial discussion on terms, volumes and expectations, within the authority defined in the written scope.

Pipeline reporting & account management

Reporting / Accounts

Regular pipeline reporting and ongoing management of accounts after the first order, so relationships are maintained locally.

Engagement terms

How the relationship is defined

Representation only works when the boundaries are explicit. These points are settled before outreach begins.

  1. 01

    Written scope

Territory, accounts, responsibilities, reporting cadence, compensation and the limits of authority are defined in writing before work starts.

  2. 02

    Manufacturer ownership

Verified technical data, quality, warranty and product claims remain the responsibility of the manufacturer. TORVQ communicates only what the manufacturer has confirmed.

  3. 03

    Representation status

TORVQ does not present itself as an authorized representative, distributor or agent of any manufacturer before a written agreement is in place.

  4. 04

    Reporting line

Activity, pipeline status and open items are reported on a defined cadence, so the manufacturer can see progress without managing it daily.

TORVQ coordinates commercial and regulatory workstreams. Final legal, tax, customs and regulatory determinations are made by appropriately qualified professionals and the relevant authorities.
